...it's not a colour i normally like....
...it doesn't suit me..
(even if i'd like to imagine myself as sandy in 'grease'...
with that little yellow cardi round my shoulders....)
...but at this time of year
i just can't seem to get enough of it....
...i fill the house with daffodils....
...and my army of easter chicks
come out on parade....
(what's with the pink hats????love these guys!)
....it's the promise of better days....
...warmth from the sun.....
...yellow is happy and vibrant....
yellow is holidays....
...and easter chocolate!!!!!
yummy!
uh oh better watch that cheeky yellow monkey!
keep the faith....
spring IS coming....
even if it is pouring with rain right now!
x

DeleteYou know, I never liked yellow and I think it's a very difficult colour to wear, needs the right skintone but I've recently started to love it. Oh I'm so fickle! Gagging for a primrose cashmere cardi myself at the moment (but thinking more Ma Larkin than Sandy Dee)!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos and witty writing style.

ReplyDeleteyellow.sunshine.happiness.yay!
ReplyDeleteYellow not my colour either - much prefer green but am cheered by the spring yellow with all that it promises after the endless grey drizzle. Your photos are so cheerful can't help but smile.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow chicks and that little squirrel are the cutest things ever! Love the color yellow in small amounts. Pale yellow is one of my favorites though. We have so much snow here in the northern USA, can't wait for spring to get here! Your shop is adorable BTW!
