friday fatigue......

.....this is me today....

....the dollies collapsed in sympathy
as i was up all night with
...a poorly little squirrel...
....who caught a pesky bug that i have
been fighting off all week...
....a rubbish start to the term...
...but i am still determined to keep
bright eyed and bushy tailed
this september...
...so whilst mopping brows...
..i have also been slowly reorganising
my shelves....
....to display happy new finds...
(i have wanted a babycham bambi forever!!!!)
....and make way for some
new crafting!
keep smiling!

.....reduce, reuse, recycle.......

...there's not much that can beat
the feeling of 'upcycling'...
...of taking some little scraps of fabric..
....some discarded vintage embroidery...
...and stitching and crafting away...
...piecing bits together...
...working with whatever bits and bobs
you can find.....
..and making something useful..
...oh...
...well maybe not useful..
...but into something else!
*****
..have a crafty week-end!

.....deer sisters.....

...i have had some time over the holidays
to do some stitching....
...introducing my deer sisters...
...one in pink and one in blue...
...each with ditsy floral ears..
...a signature bow...
...and little felt shoes...
...at the end of their long stripy sock legs!

i have just listed them in my etsy shop

do pop in and say hello!

oh i do like to be beside the seaside........

..oh i do love to be beside the sea!
we are so lucky to have a hideaway home in Lyme...
..we run there whenever we can...
..to relax, recharge, and snuffle for treasures.....
...there's something so therapeutic about being by the sea....and saturday was such a glorious day...
..i just had to put on my 'new'
vintage Liberty print blouse....i bought it in a local charity shop
to use as crafting fabric....
..but once i'd got it home and found that it fitted, the scissors were swiftly put away!
these are the street lights along the promenade...
it is definitely a stylish place full of artistic, creative people and shops......!
.....this little bambi was one of my squirrel finds yesterday..
i couldn't resist those big eyes..
..the gorgeous card is by 'dicky bird' designed by my talented cousin .....you must visit
her site....
squirelling is definitely in the genes!
