....it was the fabric that inspired me....
...a lovely scrap of fluffy pastel yellow mohair...
...that just screamed 'chicks' to me....
....thinking i was going to make lots of them...
...i cut out 6 pairs of vintage quilty little wings....
....and 6 little smiley felty beaks....
.....i was quite a long way down the creative process
before i realised i had made them so big....
......i only had enough fabric for 3!!!!!
doh!
....but actually now i think they are better for being bigger....
.....sometimes these things happen for a reason...
.....and you just have to go with the flow!
....i was actually meant to be 'lambing' this week....
.....so i blame the sunshine for hatching these chicks first....

....looking for new homes for easter....
