....they were a bit grubby and
possibly v.granny chic but not for me....

....moore please........

...i was so excited to find a gorgeous
sarah moore crafty supplement
with this months country living magazine...

...i love sarah's beautiful books
and always find them inspiring...

..in fact one of my very first tentative
blog posts was a picture of some SM buns!

...i was lucky enough to meet sarah
her stall was so pretty (of course)..
..this was a basket of her beautiful buns..
....and kitty's!

i spied with my little eye on instagram
that the lovely henpin
had been shopping with SM....
..not wishing to feel left out in any way..
...i popped in a little order for myself..
(tee hee)
which arrived this very morning!

...some fabulous wallpaper...
and some amazing vintage eidy fabric....

...all set for a crafty weekend!
what are you up to?

...the eridge decorative living fair....

....well my friends...
...it certainly didn't disappoint....

..i hope you're sitting comfortably
because there is so much to
show and tell.....

...the sun was shining and the setting was idyllic....

...the fair was organised by
whose beautiful books and embroidery
have long been favourites of mine...

..we headed straight for caroline's stall
where we spotted these gorgeous dogs
who feature in her Childhood Treasures book

...we bought caroline's new book
which she kindly signed for us....

...and excitedly bought some
 'bags of inspiration'....

...gorgeous bags filled with hand picked items
from carolines' own collection of
fabrics, ribbons, buttons,
and even examples of her own work...
...unfinished projects...
***
...they were so exciting to unpack..
..as you really didn't know what treasure you would find inside!

...it was very difficult to keep focused..
...because EVERY stall was gorgeous...

..i was particularly excited to meet

...her stall was brimming with lovely things..

...but it was the bunny that got squirrelled!
(love him!!!)

...everybody was so friendly...
...i had a good rummage at

....i even had to go back
just to make sure i hadn't missed anything the first time....
(which of course i had!!!)

..lots of bunting...

....this fabulous stall belonged to

....where i bought a couple of pretty aprons
and chatted to liz...
..a true fabric expert
and fellow west country blogger!

****sigh****
..these were amazing...

...more chatting with the lovely roxanne from
where my mum bought my littlest squirrel this cute liberty print blouse...
(we both wanted one of the jumpers!!)

..another little bag of inspiration from
somerset based 'poacher's pocket'...

...more buttons of course...

...and bunnies!

...these guys belonged to
and it was lovely to meet her in person...

....the list of 'wants' was never ending...

...and at every turn there were
amazing treasures...
(just look at these!!!)
***
...this is definitely a fair i will
be revisiting next year...

...better start saving my pennies!

.....happy busy........

the flags were flying in Lyme last weekend......
.....for the jurassic fossil festival......

....but being a squirrel....
....i prefer the bank holiday monday festival...
....where all the fossils are replaced by
food and art!

...a huge tent sits right on the beach...
..the weather was spooky....

...bright beautiful sunshine inland...
...but a thick foggy mist out to sea!

..inside the tent are all sorts of lovely things to tempt...

(although sadly i'm allergic to seafood....
....but still thought these prawns looked amazing)

..i always head straight to my favourite stall..

who not only produces the most wonderful artwork...

...but also has other interesting vintage items....
...a few little treats i squirrelled....

...i still had time for a bit of vintage thrifting in lyme...
....i loved this basket the best...

...a £2.50 bargain!..

..a sweet little book...

...and some embroidered hand towels...

...it was so lovely to have the 'extra' day of holiday...
...so to soften the blow of going back to work
i treated myself to this new Sarah Moore publication....

...it's just lovely and a must have
for your bookshelf!

....looking forward to some more bedtime reading tonight!
