...the first cut is the deepest.....


...do you ever find material 
that you love so much... 
that you can't bring yourself to cut it?..


..that's how i felt about this lovely vintage
'polar scene' fabric....



...but with christmas approaching...
 i knew the time had come....


...still deciding what to do with it all..
....but it's a start....
...brave huh?


...i made this furry polar bear...
...but my family decided it looked more like a polar-sheep!

...have a happy, crafty,vintagey,
christmassy week-end x

  2. oooooO! Christmas....Love It....Love It...! :).
    I've just got back from Wimborne.....Bought some bit's'n'peices from a couple of charity shops....A couple of old christmassy hearts, which will look great hanging in the back window of the car..(Must'nt forget the car). And, a christmas teddy for front.....Gett'in there.....! :>).

I have loads of fabric I take out and stare at, stroke and put back as I can't bear to cut it ... but time and again I see that fabric looks even lovelier when it is made into something beautiful ... love your little heart and the polar bear is very cute ... enjoy your weekend ...
