...we are family....I got all my sisters with me....

...there is quite a girly gathering
going on round at vanilla squirrel's...
..i seem to be running a kind of
dolly refuge...
i don't seem able to walk away
from those little naked souls left lying
in display cabinets...
...and seem to have quite a collection gathering....
...don't worry girls i have plans for you...
...i just need some time....
..and maybe a little help from a sister!

    1. i think it's the magic of finding them inside! I spotted the big one looking a bit worn but with such a gorgeous face......when i opened her up it was so exciting that the others were equally pretty but absolutely pristine nestled safely inside...will let you see what happens to the dollies once they have been squirrelled x

  7. Can understand that - quite partial to the little 1930's dolls and the Kewpies - have to show great restrain when I see them or could become a little obsessed. Think it is their deep blue peepers, their oh so sweet expressions and that curly moulded hair!

  8. I love Russian dolls too but can't say the same about the other dolls. I never liked dolls as a child ... I always found them a bit spooky, especially naked ones!! I much preferred teddies.

  12. This post scared the living daylights out of me.....I just find dolls way too scary....especially naked ones lol. I love teddies but once when I was young (and believe me that was quite awhile ago now) I played schools with my dolls and teddies, lined them all up with their little homemade books in front of them and I swear...they moved!! And not just falling, they MOVED!! I ran out that room screaming.

  15. I've always hated to see dolls with no clothes ... I would always be putting a pretty dress on them if I found them unclothed. I swear they thanked me every time ;) Wendy
