...postcard pics.......

....so our norfolk hols are over...
...and we are home,exhausted....
...with piles of washing to sort...
...and nothing in the fridge...
...but it's always worth it...
...we have had a fantastic time....
...knowing the area well...
...we know exactly where we want to go...
...but a week is never really quite long enough to fit it all in....
....we have visited farmers markets...
...beaches....
..with pony rides...
...driven to little coastal villages...
...with stunning views...
....we have pootled in amazing
 roadside shops....
...just pulling over and spending too much money!
...but in such idyllic surroundings...
...it was very hard to resist....
..one of my favourites has to be
..this wonderful place is a post office,
..cafe, grocery store, gift shop...
...just a little place ..
...but such a fantastic concept..
...brilliantly done...
...this donna wilson bunny
just had to come home with me...
...we shopped in holt...
...where i was spoilt with this jacket
handmade from vintage fabrics...
...a gift for my birthday...
(love love love)
...and also stopped off in norwich
on the way back...
....and enjoyed some time in the city..
...this is a beautiful shopping arcade..
...and the lovely cobbled streets
make it well worth a visit...
...i can't believe how quickly
time is flying....
....we must be having fun!
i hope you are enjoying this summer too
now back to some stitching....

    1. It really is the most amazing place..... but please keep it our little secret as part of the beauty is that not everybody knows about it and you can still get out and about quite easily( not the jams of Devon and Cornwall) x

  10. What a lovely post, very envious of the jacket it's beautiful. I'm sure that post office is the one the magazine Country Living had an article about. Have only been to Norfolk once many years ago, Cromer and Holt, your photos make me want to go again. x

  14. Beautiful photos. Norfolk is our 'local' - my father in law lives there and we often visit. I haven't tried Stiffkey Stores, I saw the write up in Country Living. Must pop by.
