...sunshine on a rainy day.....

...in an attempt to beat those january blues....


...i felt the need to invest in this amazing tin this morning.....


...i thought these sunny images of bygone butlin's holidays....


..and retro bathing beauties by the pool...

...might be just the ticket to banish thoughts of impending frosts and snow flurries?


...i know it's time to be thrifty but i did it for all our sakes.....
(oh and the new/sale ck tablecloth for the same reasons....
...please don't tell....nobody seems to have noticed!)

    Yet more memories....I started out in the entertainment business, not at Butlins, but, Pontins....Osminton Bay, Weymouth...(Not there now).
    The ladies, holding their numbers for the beauty contest...Really Hi-Di-Hi days...!

      No...I was an entertainer...There was four of
      us....We did'nt have to wear coats....! :)
